LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – PHOTOS. Anna Fermanova has been arrested for transporting items to Russia. Anna Fermanova (pictures below) faces charges less than thirty days after Anna Chapman was arrested, sent back to Russia, offered a spread in Men’s Magazine, and even depicted in her own action figure toy.

Anna Fermanova like Anna Chapman is young, gorgeous, and accused of conduct between the U.S. and Russia. Fermanova also appears in a sea of Facebook pictures like Chapman.

But now Anna Fermanova faces charges of smuggling high-tech night vision scopes to Russia. Anna Fermanova is one of several arrested in an affidavit claiming she “intentionally attempt to export” U.S. Defense department items to Russia right off the U.S. Munitions List. Each scope reportedly carries a value of $15,000. The items alleged to have been found on Anna Fermanova include a Raptor 4X,a “generation 3″ night vision device that can seek out a target in “low light conditions” and is attached to a rifle.

The items according to court documents were seized from Anna Fermanova while she tried to travel from the US to Moscow through JFK on March 1. Yes, she tried to check the items through baggage.

US Customs and Border Protection found the items in her luggage, a total of three night vision devices. So why would someone try to smuggle something so obvious through JFK? Officials say the Anna Fermanova transported items that had “no visible identification stickers or markings” and with key serial numbers  “covered with black marker pen”.

It was just days ago that Chapman’s story captivated a nation and ended in a stunning spy swap. Anna Chapman’s fate ended July 9. Vision Airways carried Anna Chapman from New York’s LaGuardia Airport to Vienna after she and 9 others pleaded guilty in a New York courtroom. The deal involved immediate deportation of the 10 spies in exchange for a reported 4 foreigners held for espionage by Russia.

Once in Vienna, the Vision Airways jet was photographed as parking next to a Russian-flagged aircraft on the Austrian tarmac. For a mere 15 minutes, the two planes were said to have stagged the biggest spy swap since the Cold War. Chapman’s own ex husband Alex Chapman has said of Anna “If she is a spy then she’s fallen into it because of the glitz and the glamour of it all. She used her looks to get noticed.”

Anna Fermanova like Chapman appears on Facebook. She graduated from Ogle School of Hair Skin and Nails in 2005 and has a cosmetology license. Reports claim that Fermanova is under house arrest, out on a $50,000 bail, and is set to appear in a Brooklyn courtroom in July. She currently is in Plano, Texas, says local news. There remains no evidence yet detailing that Anna Chapman and Anna Fermanova knew each other. Anna Fermanova stands 5′6”, appears in a Halloween costumes, and features the notable Facebook comment “Is this a viral marketing campaign for Salt? ” No, it isn’t.
