LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Lindsay Lohan’s fingernail tattoo message could land her in contempt of court. Lindsay Lohan’s finger nail carried a message for her Judge during yesterday’s hearing, as reported before sunrise today on LALATE.

But now legal experts are saying the use of such language in a Los Angeles courtroom could send Lohan to jail even longer than her court ordered 90 day term.

When the initial images hit the net late last night, some bloggers initially were calling it all photoshopped. Such was not the case.

In fact, photo companies were sending out disclaimers to news sites that the images do have the language. One company defended their pictures by explaining nothing had been “altered beyond the normal bit of toning to correct color balance and contrast”. Another advised news sites before running the Lohan fingernail picture that it carried  “language on left middle fingernail”.

Legal experts tell FOX News today that the judge, if angered not already enough by Lohan’s previous conduct, could now add on three to five more days on her sentence.

But the message calls more into question (1) the mindset of Lohan and (2) omission of parenting and legal supervision by mother Dina Lohan and Lohan’s attorney.

Lohan has called herself a ” style icon …. fashion icon Lindsay Lohan”. But she told the court, while flashing the nail message, “I did the best I could. I did do everything I was told to do and did the best I could to balance jobs and showing up. It wasn’t vacation, it wasn’t some sort of a joke.”
