NASHVILLE (LALATE) – PHOTOS. One year after Sahel Kazemi pictures and details in the Steve McNair murder case were revealed, a new twist is added. Sahel Kazemi did not kill Steve McNair concludes a self appointed private investigator, Vincent Hill.

Sahel Kazemi and McNair were killed by someone else, so claims Hill. However, this week a grand jury disagreed and refused to reopen the Sahel Kazemi case. Sergeant Pat Postiglione said of Hill “As far as I know he’s never viewed one crime scene photo. He’s got a lot to say about the crime scene, but he’s never viewed the first photo” .

In fact Keith Norfleet, Kazemi’s ex boyfriend, said in 2009 that Kazemi did not kill McNair. Norfleet told press in an interview that Kazemi confessed she and McNair broke up one week before the shooting.

In July 2009, Keith said Sahel was raised by her sister after her mother, born in Iran, was murdered when Sahel was just 9 years old. He says the 20 year old, originally from Jacksonville, had a kind heart: “She is the sweetest girl, and she did not deserve this.”

Titans Owen Bud Adams said the following about the death of McNair in 2009:

“We are saddened and shocked to hear the news of Steve McNair’s passing today. He was one of the finest players to play for our organization and one of the most beloved players by our fans. He played with unquestioned heart and leadership and led us to places that we had never reached, including our only Super Bowl. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as they deal with his untimely passing.”

The McNair Family said the following about his murder in 2009:

“The families of Steve McNair in Mississippi and Tennessee appreciate the concern, thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of our loss of a husband, father and son. The family requests everyone would allow them time to mourn. The McNair family appreciates and continues to request your prayers at this time.”

Reports say Kazemi had a new black Cadillac Escalade that he bought and registered to both their names. Two days before her death she was arrested for DUI in the SUV. McNair posted her bail. A friend told that Sahel Kazemi this week said McNair was dating her after meeting her as a waitress at Dave & Busters.

Yet what remains unanswered is whether Sahel Kazemi knew that Leah Ignagni was allegedly also dating Steve McNair, the former Titans quarterback.

Ignagni tells police that an Escalade like that owned by Kazemi (bought by McNair) was seen following her and watching her.
