Randall Cunningham’s Son Dies Christian Cunningham Drowns

LAS VEGAS (LALATE) — The son of former Eagles QB Randall Cunningham has died; Christian Cunningham, 2, has drowned in a family hot tub.
Randall Cunningham maintained the hot tub for baptisms at his home, says reports. Shortly before 5 pm Tuesday, a female at the home found the boy, pulled him out and began CPR. Fifteen minutes later, a phone call was made to 911. Christian was then rushed to St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena campus where was announced dead upon arrival.
The Cunningham house on East Robindale Road was visited Tuesday by local police who confirmed the drowning was accidental. In a statement to ABC, Officer Barbara Morgan says “The initial investigation has revealed that it was accidental and not neglect, but it is still an active investigation.” Cunningham played with the Eagles, Vikings, Cowboys, and Ravens.
Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
