LIMA, Peru. PHOTO. Here is a photo and video of race car driver Ricardo Flores, father of Stephany Flores Ramirez. Ricardo Flores was quick to speak to press today hours after Joran van der Sloot was named as the lead suspect in Stephany Flores Ramirez.
Immediately, international news tried to determine if the events against Stephany were directed specifically at her because she was Flores’ daughter. By all accounts, Flores and local police describe the events as random, Stephany Flores Ramirez the alleged victim of a late night walk home after leaving her friends.
Police state that the their lead suspect in the death of Stephany Flores Ramirez, 21, today is Van der Sloot, 22.
German news reports quickly asked if the attack against Stephany was targeted as the daughter of a Peruvian businessman and race car driver. It all happened Sunday morning as she left a casino in Peru’s capital of Lima. By Monday morning she was found dead in a hotel room.
Yet little is know about Flores. German press wrote today “but there is little about this man. … He apparently … won in 1991 the Incas Rally (with Toyota).” Ricardo Flores told press today “She retired at 5:16 a.m. from Casino with Mr. Joran Van Der Sloot.” “We do not know if he is still here or if he went to Argentina…” Flores adds that Interpol in Chile has been notified.
