Molly Hagerty’s Al Gore allegations are hitting newsstands this week. Yet Molly Hagerty (photo below) explains an alleged encounter with Al Gore not from this year but 2006. Why is this 54 year old masseuse’s identity and her allegations about a Grand Marnier-loving $540-paying massage client being revealed four years later?

Hagerty is from Oregon. She initially was described the National Enquirer as “a gorgeous massage therapist”. She said Al Gore grabbed her, was a giggling “crazed …. poodle” who uses “come hither” looks. Three years later, in January 2009, she gave a taped interview to local law enforcement, her name redacted.

The alleged event was at the Hotel Lucia in October 2006, claims Hagerty. The police case was dropped because she reportedly refused to “cooperate with the investigation or even report a crime.”

She described Gore as having a “violent temper as well as extremely dictatorial commanding attitude besides his Mr. Smiley Global Warming concern persona.” The picture on the Enquirer features her holding the “stains on the front of my black slacks.” “I carefully hung them up and decided to be sure not to launder them until I knew more what to do with what had happened. Just my intuition.”

Weeks ago, the Enquirer ran “We have verified the 62-year-old former VP was in Portland at the time of the alleged incident – Oct. 24, 2006 – and we saw the $540 massage bill.”

Hagerty has previously said “... I was not interested in making any money from this case…. I did not want to be labeled a gold digger like the women in this situation are often labeled.”

All summer long, multiple magazines have been trying to conclude while the Gores recently ended their marriage. But for the Enquirer, the claims included first a police report and description about the “a gorgeous massage therapist”, 54 years old.

Now this week, supermarket shoppers with this cover get to see the “gorgeous massage therapist”. The cover reads “Al Gore is a pervert … Exclusive interview with … attack victim .. massage therapist comes forward with MORE EVIDENCE, Key witness, DNA testing, video footage.”

On the cover is a picture of the “gorgeous massage therapist” holding a ziplock bag with an article of clothing in it. The insert text reads “her …. pants”.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – There is less love in the Office. Angela Kinsey and Warren Lieberstein are divorcing. Angela Kinsey, star of NBC’s The Office, is divorcing Warren Lieberstein, writer and producer on the same show.

The couple cite irreconcilable differences, ending 10 years of marriage. Kinsey and Lieberstein separated in February last year, but this week called it quits. The couple have a 2 year old child, Isabel. Angela is seeking joint legal and physical custody of Isabel.

Angela Kinsey has appeared on 116 episodes of the series since 2005.  She previously appeared on Monk for two episodes from 2007 to 2008. Kinsey was on King of the Hill three times and appeared as Simone in Step by Step.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – News today that a flying car the Terrafugia Transition has been approved by the FAA. The flying car Terrafugia Transition is a light aircraft non-tradition car and hence was approved by the FAA to start production. The vehicle is able to take to the road, and to flight.

The Terrafugia Transition has a price tag of $200,000. But for the Terrafugia Transition’s ability to avoid traffic jams, it’s priceless. A special weight exemption by the FAA was granted this week to the creation of former MIT students.

It has a very long wide front bumper. And if you compare the pictures, its wings appear to fold up and down, down when ready to take flight and up when ready for the road. It remains unclear how many colors it comes with. But don’t expect spinner wheels nor a convertible model on the horizon.
