Dennis Hopper life off screen involved battles with Victoria Duffy and even a marriage to Michelle Phillips, that lasted seven days.

Dennis Hopper’s ex wife Victoria Duffy just this month said Hopper was well enough to attend a deposition; Hopper’s reps described his condition as term as grave.

“It is doubtful that Mr. Hopper will ever recover sufficiently to be subjected to a deposition,” Hopper’s team said. But Victoria Duffy’s team said of Hopper’s terminally ill condition. “Victoria fully appreciates the gravity and seriousness of Dennis’ illness but he is not bed-ridden and continues to engage in travel plans and various activities.”

In April, a court ruled that Victoria could remain on the family’s Venice property and receive $8,000 a month in spousal support and $4,000 in child support for daughter Galen, 7.

In May, the two sides argued whether the life insurance policy for Hopper naming Victoria as the beneficiary should be changed. The court ruled it should not.

Hopper was married five time, had four children and two grandchildren, and was even married to Michelle Phillips. Phillips and Hopper married on October 31 1970. They divorce less than a week later on November 8.

Fans today remember the film career of Dennis Hopper that spanned Easy Rider to Speed. But for Dennis Hooper, life in movies stalled after Easy Rider brought him international fame.

In 1969, Dennis Hopper directed, starred, and co-wrote Easy Rider. The film would win the Cannes Film Festival and earn Hopper an Oscar nomination for the screenplay.

But Hopper’s film career wasn’t smooth in the early 1970s. That would change with a lead role in the epic film Apocalypse Now in 1969. Through the 1980s and 1990s, Hopper’s career would once again flourish.

But in 1994, Hopper’s career took yet again an unlikely turn, along with a runaway Los Angeles RTD Bus. In Speed opposite Sandra Bullock Hopper Hopper would have a monster action film hit for a new generation. The film would win three Oscars. Hopper played extortionist Howard Payne up against Jack Traven played by Keanu Reeves.

Hopper passed today from prostate cancer at age 74. Funeral arrangements are not announced. Dennis Hopper will be greatly missed.

Dennis Hopper has died, his death confirmed Saturday. Dennis Hopper’s cause of death is prostate cancer. In January of this year, Hopper confirmed to press that he was suffering from advanced prostate cancer which had metastasized to his bones, reducing him to 100 lbs, leaving him terminally ill and unable to undergo chemotherapy.

On March 25, his rep confirmed Hopper was dying from cancer.

Hopper was married five times. He was married to Brooke Hayward, actress Michelle Phillips (less than thirty days), Daria Halprin, Katherine LaNasa, and Victoria Duffy. Hopper had four children and two granddaughters.

In March this year, Hopper took to the Hollywood Walk of Fame to receive his star with longtime colleagues Jack Nicholson, Viggo Mortensen, David Lynch, and Michael Madsen in attendance.

Hopper’s talents extended beyond the acting profession into photographing, paint, and sculpture. His collections were equally impressive, buying an Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup Cans print for $75.

Funeral arrangements are not announced. Dennis Hopper will be greatly missed.

Early Saturday, Costa Mesa police Detective Sgt. Ed Everett, who is calling this as alleged double murder for profit plot, reports local law enforcement have found the remains of Wozniak’s neighbor Herr, 26, and friend Kubuishi, 23.

Wozniak had appeared on stage with his bride-to-be as Guido Contini in “Nine” at the Hunger Artists Theatre Company in Fullerton, California.

Daniel Wozniak remains in a coma today, his wedding date.
