Gary Coleman’s family says funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.

Upon funeral preparations, Coleman’s family spoke more about Gary’s passing more this weekend. Coleman’s brother-in-law Shawn Price said in a statement Friday “We are very grateful for all the support everyone has extended to Gary’s family. Thousands of e-mails have poured into the hospital. This has been so comforting to the family to know how loved he still is.” Price said funeral arrangements will be announced next week.

Gary Coleman’s death comes after the Diff’rent Strokes star suffered a brain hemorrhage Wednesday, was placed on life support Thursday, and had suffered seizures since January.

In a statement issued by manager John Alcantar last week, his family told fans: “We are saddened to announce that since mid afternoon, Mountain Time, on May 27, 2010, Mr. Coleman has been unconscious and on life support.”

Indonesia’s Aceh region is initiated a tight pants ban. The tight pants ban for the Islamic district of Indonesia’s Aceh section is ban against clothing for women that differs from the now mandated long skirt requirement.

In fact, local officials dropped off 20,000 long skirts to shop owners and told them to sell these, not tight dresses or jeans.

A report says that as many as 18 women on motorcycles wearing jeans were stopped and told to take off their jeans, surrender their jeans to authorities, and put on the “appropriate” long skirts, or face arrest. But local officials claim the rule only applies to residents, not tourists, and only female Muslim residents.

Honda (NYSE:HMC) has been hit by a new 2010 strike in China. The Honda strike in China has resulted in closure of all four assembly plants this weekend.

The latest Honda strike is by union workers demanding higher pay scale. This comes as news that Honda will increase production in the country from 360,000 units to 480,000 vehicles by Q3′11.

Yet unlike other international strikes hitting the auto industry lately, this one for Honda has garnered top local news appearing as the lead news story nightly in print and on state run television. As many as 1900 workers are on strike demanding monthly salary increases from 1,000 (USD 147) 1,500 yuan (USD 194) to 2,000 (USD 220)-2,500 (USD 367).

The minimum wage in some regions of the country are 920 yuan (USD 135) per month.
