Tonight’s Strikeforce features ANTONIO SILVA vs ANDRE ARLOVSKI. Silva is 13-2, 0-1 in Strikeforce. Silva is the first and only Elite XC Heavyweight Champion (July 2008).

Strikeforce says the following about Silva:

“Antonio Silva is deceptively fast for his size. He favors his Muay Thai skills and throws tight left hooks, starting them close to the body so you don’t see them coming. The left hook/right straight seems to be a favored combination. He uses his knees and elbows effectivly from the clinch. He throws the low leg roundhouse kick to chop at his opponent’s base and the front kick to both strike and gage how far his opponent is from him.”

He was also the 2005 Cage Rage World Heavyweight Champion and the 2005 Cage Wars Fighting Championships Super Heavyweight Champion .
