Decca releases Clay Aiken Tried and True on June 1. Clay Aiken Tried and True cover art, song track listing, and tour dates are being released.
Clay Aiken Tried and True draws from 1950s and 1960s standards, some of which were performed by Aiken during his Idol competition. Two album versions will be released. The Standard Edition’s track listing is 1. “Can’t Take My Eyes off You” 3:18; 2. “What Kind of Fool Am I? (featuring David Sanborn) 3:31; 3. “It’s Only Make Believe” 3:13 4. “Misty” 4:18; 5. “Mack the Knife” 3:21; 6. “It’s Impossible” 4:02 7. “Unchained Melody” 4:51; 8. “Suspicious Minds” 3:49; 9. “Crying” (duet with Linda Eder) 4:05; 10. “There’s a Kind of Hush” 3:00 and 11. “Moon River” (featuring Vince Gill) 4:11.
The Deluxe Edition includes a DVD and bonus tracks 12. “Who’s Sorry Now?”; 13. “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do”

Love all 3 snippets of songs up on Clay’s website but am most looking forward to Suspicious Minds.
Clay’s version of I Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You is totally addictive! lol
My husband and I are both looking forward to our first Clay concert this summer in Reno.
I hope that Clay can tour to promote this cd so as many fans as possible can get to hear and see him live.

So far, Mack The Knife is my favorite!!! I love the arrangement and Clay’s vocals on this song are to die for!!
I’ll also be seeing Clay & Ruben in Reno
can’t wait!

Thanks for the letting everyone know about Clay Aikens up and coming CD, I can hardly wait to get it. He’s touring to 17 cities with his best friend Ruben Studdard this summer and has a PBS special starting in August. People from all over are going to get to see and hear this amazing talent.

1. Unchained Melody – People were blown away when they heard this live for the PBS taping..
2. crying: the duet with Linda Eder..
I am blown away just listening to the snippets posted on Clays official fanclub..amazing arrangements and Clay never sounded so amazing.. I’m pumped ,and can’t wait to get this..

Since in was at the taping for the PBS special, I can’t wait to hear the Linda Eder duet “Crying” again. Next is “Suspicious Minds” and “Unchained Melody.”

Thank you for posting the info regarding Tried N True CD.
I am very excited about hearing “Unchained Melody”, “Crying” and “Hush.” I havent listened to any snippets and am going to open my “present” June 1!!!
I cannot wait for the PBS special in August. The Tour is going to 17 cities and Ill be at Biltmore in Asheville for the kickoff of this tour. I would love a tour in Michigan as well as The Star Theater in Merrillville IN.

thanks for the info on Clay Aiken’s Tried and True CD coming out in June.
I have watched the snippets of his PBS special for August, and let me tell you the songs and his voice are as smooth as silk, and very upbeat and jazzy.

I haven’t heard all the songs so can’t say which one I like most but I want Clay aiken to get his ass to San Francisco to promote this CD!! Please come to SF, Clay!

OMG ! I just found this cd for preorder on itunes . You can hear clips of the songs . Normally not my style but this is awesome . His voice is awesome . OMG !
