Fame artist Louise Bourgeois is dead at 98. Louise Bourgeois has died, her death the result of a heart attack over the weekend.

Louise Bourgeois was known for massive public works, many 35 feet tall, including “Maman” and other works depicting giant spiders. Many of her installations left fans baffled behind the meaning; but for spiders, Louise said it was reflective of her mother, “clever, patient and neat as a spider.”

In an email to the LA Times in 2007, she gave some insight into her work “It is a way of coming to grips with my anxiety and fears. It is an attempt to be a better person.… There is a lot of ambivalence in the work. There are many hanging pieces, which signify a fragile state. There are pieces that oscillate and rock, which also convey fragility. We all have pink days and blue days. I am trying to seek a balance between the extremes that I feel. I want to be reasonable.”

Funeral arrangements have not been announced. Louise Bourgeois will be greatly missed.

News today that the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club inducted Sergeant Holly Burke.

Audie Murphy recognized Sergeant Holly Burke on today’s Memorial Day as a three time Iraq tour survivor.

In accepting the induction today, Burke told local news the following: “Being named to the SAMC means everything to me; I studied for this for a year and had no expectation of getting it on my first try. It’s all very surreal to me. But having accomplished this shows me that I actually am good at something.”

The Sergeant Audie Murphy Club is named for WWII decorated Sergeant Audie Murphy.

Glenn Beck has issued an apology for his Malia Obama remark. Glenn Beck’s Malia Obama comment was stated during Friday’s news broadcast. Over the weekend, the popular political personality issued an apology stating that he was wrong to insert the President’s children into commentary about the BP oil spill.

Beck’s comment was “Daddy did you plug the hole yet?” Beck apologized thereafter as follows:

“In discussing how President Obama uses children to shield himself from criticism, I broke my own rule about leaving kids out of political debates. The children of public figures should be left on the sidelines. It was a stupid mistake and I apologize–and as a dad I should have known better.”

Sarah Ferguson says she was tipsy during that tape scandal. The Sarah Ferguson videotape scandal launched by News of the World will result in Ferguson pleading her explanations to Americans during an Oprah Winfrey interview.

Ferguson, who has already recorded the Winfrey interview that will air Tuesday, reveals today that had been drinking when the tape was made.

“I haven’t faced the devil in the face because I was in the gutter at that moment. So I’m aware of the fact that I’ve been drinking, you know, that I was not in my right place” says Ferguson to Winfrey. On the tape Ferguson says “I can open any door you want [to Andrew]“.

Last Tuesday, Sarah Ferguson was recorded allegedly accepting $40,000 cash down payment from an uncover reporter.

Temptations star Ali-Ollie Woodson is dead at 58. Ali-Ollie Woodson has died, his death confirmed today after months of battling cancer.

Ali-Ollie Woodson was not an original member of the Temptations but helped lead the group to new hits in the 1980s and 90s with songs like Treat Her Like a Lady.

Ali-Ollie Woodson was not responsible for the group’s original 1960s and 1970s hits like “Papa Was a Rolling Stone” but put the group back on the charts with a series of new hits from 1984 to 1986 including “Sail Away” and “Lady Soul”. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
