RESULTS! Little surprise in the American Idol results elimination last night. The elimination results on American Idol last night April 21 2010 came after three of the contestants sent to the bottom 3 also weren’t a surprise.

In fact, much of the last few weeks, Idol has been very predictable as to which contesant is in trouble. While it may be difficult to predict who specifically will be sent home, voted off, told to pack their bags …. THAT …. particular week, it’s been super easy to predict who will get eliminated eventually in the next two weeks.

Casey James was not sent home. But unless he changes his performances, he will be sent home. Aaron Kelly is also still trouble. Consecutive weeks of substandard, or lackluster, performances build up. Viewers get annoyed and will progressively eliminate those who just aren’t clearly winning this year’s competition.

Could Crystal Bowersox win this season? Of course. Lee DeWyze? Absolutely. Michael Lynche? Possibly. After that, it’s a big field. Any contestant outside that group of 3 has the potential of being the come from behind contender (which viewers love) and still win this competition.

It’s still anyone’s competition to win. And in a season in which the press hasn’t yet given any real buzz to contestants other than Bowersox, a late-bloomer contender in this competition could become a viral sensation.

American Idol Results Last Night:

1. Result #1 – First Bottom 3 name is …
… LALATE had told you Casey James was in trouble and is probably the one getting eliminated tonight. In early results … Casey James is sent to the Bottom 3!

The judges disliked him yesterday. They said of Casey James:

Randy: “It just sounded OK.” Ellen: “You’re like the soup of the day. Today I didn’t like the soup.” Kara: “It wasn’t best execution.” Simon: “But it was a little bit of letdown”

2. Result #2 – Second Bottom 3 is …

LALATE had also predicted Aaron Kelly was in trouble. And in early results, Kelly is sent to the Bottom 3!

The judges had said Kelly was just average.

Randy: “You definitely have pure vocal talent. Good job.” Ellen: “That was a tough song but you handled it.” Kara: “By the end it was like, all right, he got there.” Simon: “It wasn’t very good, but you kind of made it quite good.”

3. Result #3 – Third Bottom 3 is …. Tim Urban!

Judges had this to say about Tim:
Randy: “It just sounded OK.” Ellen: “You’re like the soup of the day. Today I didn’t like the soup.” Kara: “It wasn’t best execution.” Simon: “But it was a little bit of a letdown.”

From there, Aaron Kelly was saved. We were down to finally Casey James and Tim Urban. And in the end …

TIM URBAN was SENT HOME!
