In recent weeks, Shear Genius 3 has been lead by Matthew and Janine on wins with Brig barely holding on. But as you have seen the last few weeks, Janine has been sliding and Brig has been catching up.
Last week Matthew won the Short Cut challenge and won the previous two weeks not one but two Elimination Challenges.
In the last two weeks, Janine has won two Short Cut Challenges and one Elimination Challenge, but failed to win on March 31. With the support for Matthew coming from Jonathan Antin and Camila, the thought was that Matthew would be tonight’s season finale winner.
But your Shear Genius winner for Season 3 announced tonight was ……

Shear Genius, what a bunch of idiots, the winner didn’t not style a single head of hair and won. I thought it was a show about hair styling, I guess not. Is this what they call “with input from the producers”? Will never watch the show again.

Brig might as well be styling HATS! She did NOT style hair! I’m not saying who should have one, just obviously who should NOT have won!

I disagree. The purpose was to style hair for a fashion show. She knew the models wouldn’t want ruined hair – she colored and styled fake “hair” and it complimented the clothes – not taking the focus away as the other 2 did. I did like Matthew’s work – but not as original as Brig.

I thought Brig used gimmics throughout. No one would really wear her hair dos. She pretty much did 6 tight pony-tails and added accessories for the finale. Oh well! I liked Matthew the whole season but I just had a feeling he wasn’t going to win. Bummer!
