Lavin most recently was anchoring action on ESPN. But as reported earlier on LALATE today, Lavin is joining St Johns and getting paid $1.6 to $1.8 million per year for six seasons. It’s been seven years since Lavin’s exit at UCLA.

During tonight’s NIT game moments ago, Lavin told ESPN on air the following:

“When you are at UCLA you recruit coast to coast … but ideally you want to be able to recruit through the right people. I want the key people [to work with me].”

SCORE! Current score on the Dayton v Mississippi  games is 45-42. The Mississippi game has 14 minutes left in the 2nd half for this NIT Men’s Tournament game.

Dayton vs Mississippi after the first half were 34-30. In the second, the score is nearly tied. The game started at 7 pm ET from Madison Square Garden. It can be seen live currently on ESPN2.
