LIPA National Grid Power Outage 2010!

MAP! Here is a map of the current LIPA and National Grid Power Outage 2010. The LIPA and National Grid Power Outage has roughly 23% of users still not restored as of 11 AM EST Monday. Islip and Huntington are affected.
Says LIPA:
“March 15, 2010, 11:00AM: LIPA and National Grid continue to work diligently to address downed power lines and restore power to customers affected by this weekend’s treacherous storm. Hurricane force winds and heavy rain have interrupted service to approximately 241,000 customers on Long Island. As of 11:00AM Monday, power has been restored to approximately 186,000 or 77% of those affected customers. All available crews continue to work around the clock restoring the remaining outages. We continue to benefit from off Island manpower to supplement our in house resources in support of the restoration effort.
“Long duration outages are expected to last into the early part of the upcoming week. Customers should call 1-800-490-0075 to report an outage and to receive information updates. ”
