PHOTOS! Pictures of Carla Bruni are heating up as allegations are being edited from French news sites. And while Bruni pics are sparking interest today, perhaps more fascinating is the French concerns that is prompting some French language websites to now have the remark “Note de la Rédaction du Post”.

In not just one but two top french news websites (French Yahoo and on LePost.Fr), readers are seeing today the following correction:

“Note from the Editor of the Post: ITélé we said that his journalist “has reported that the facts” and that “the video shown is a montage that does not reflect the entire newspaper circulated.”

Another website issued a statement that its post has been removed due to such French Privacy laws.

Bruni says the allegations are false.

In 2008, LALATE profiled Bruni’s new book and album. The book was called “Carla and Nicolas, the true story,” in which Bruni wrote she had “no intention of changing jobs.”

The book addressed questions if Carla Bruni would tour for her smash new album that year. The answer? No.

Bruni said, however, that if and when her husband is no longer in office she would return to touring. “What is going to change is that I won’t be performing on stage. For as long as my husband is president of the republic. But it’s not as if I was a stage animal like Janis Joplin or the Rolling Stones! And look, Madonna is about to start a tour at her age. I’ve still got time.”

Bruni also explained how she met Nicolas Sarkozy. The two met at a Paris dinner hosted by the French advertising mogul Jacques Seguela. “On November 13, Seguela called me to confirm dinner that evening. I asked who would be there and he listed the names, also mentioning Nicolas Sarkozy. I was simply very curious to go. And when I arrived I realised that it was a blind date. Well, not so blind really. There were three couples and the two of us, both single.”
