Tassos Papadopoulos’s body has been found. The body of Tassos Papadopoulos has been after the former President of Cyprus’ remains where stolen three months ago.

Tassos was President from 2003 to 2008.

The body was found in a Nicosia cemetery in Strovolos today after being stolen in December. His remains were taken before the 1 year anniversary of his passing.

It remains unclear why Tassos Papadopoulos’s body was stolen in the first place; some content ransom payments was the motivation.

His family has yet to issue a comment today.
