The New England Patriots have signed Leigh Bodden to a new contract. The Leigh Bodden Patriots contract is five years.

The Bodden Patriots deal will bring him $10 million guaranteed with a total amount of $25 million over 5 years.

This is Bodden’s 8th season coming to the pats in 2009 from the Lions after previous years with the BRowns. In 2009 he delivered 47 total tackles (down from 61 and 76 in 2008 and 2007) but delivered great interception numbers, 5 for 2009 (compared to 1 in 2008 and 2 in 2006) with 60 yards and 1 TD.
