U.S. officials confirm to AP Sunday that Pakistani undercover agents arrested Adam Yahiye Gadahn in Karachi this week.

U.S. officers aren’t confirming other details that led up to the arrest of Gadahn but confirm it happened this week. Gadahn is originally from Riverside County and would hang out in the O.C. He’s been wanted for years by the FBI for $1 million and has existed under other names like Yahya Majadin Adams and Azzam al-Amriki.

In one recent video, Adam Yahiye Gadahn was shown tearing up his U.S passport.
