Apple iPADs will be released April 3.

Laura DiDio tells CNN:

“This a game these vendors play. They never announce a specific ship date, and it’s all about posturing and positioning. But Apple really wants to get this out for spring and summer.”

Pre orders can be placed on March 12. iBook applications hit April 3. And pricing starts at April 3.

In a statement Steve Jobs says today:
