VIDEO. Here again is video of Nick Schuyler (aka Nick Skyler) who joins Oprah today. Nick Schuyler is “Not Without Hope” discusses the loss of life and his survival during that 2009 NFL boating accident.

In a story first broke by LALATE at the time, Nick Schuyler was a former University of South Florida football player who took to sea off Clearwater Florida a morning of February 2009.

Only Nick would survive.

Schuyler (wrongly first identified as Skyler initially by press) was found hanging on a boat 30 miles off Clearwater, Florida. Schuyler said all four passengers were wearing life vests.

With him were Oakland Raiders linebacker Marquis Cooper and NFL player Corey Smith along with former college player William Bleakley.
