UPDATE! Lance Armstrong finished the Tour of Murcia’s initial stage today. Lance Armstrong in the Tour of Murcia is 46th after its first stage Wednesday. The field is led by Robert Hunter of Garmin-Transitions.

Lance Armstrong rides Murcia for Team RadioShack. This is his first race since January.

Armstrong tells press he is lacking time trial bike training and specific training. He says he’s not sure how well his time trial numbers will be.

“The most important thing is to ride as hard as I can and run a smart race, a time trial that’s well tempoed.”
