The PS3 problem is not fixed, the SONY PlayStation PSN Network is still down prompted by PS3 errors. PS3 bugs haven’t been updated by SONY with the exception of one time this morning at 9 AM PST. Now at 6 PM PST, the PS3 PlayStation problem is heading into its 30th hour of trouble.

For LALATE readers, messages posted here have been a roadmap as to their errors they are getting in trophy action.

PlayStation messages posted in the last 30 minutes here include:

“I have had same problem with Playstation network and i think it is a disgrace that we can’t even play our games offline !! this is not what we bought it for ! I did notice on my playstation yesterday evening that my clock was knocked out it was displaying 11 30pm even though the actually time was 5 30pm , but i was able to play untill i logged off around 6 – this was probably early signs ? Also we have been left in the dark a little with whats happening now , we wer told 6pm but now nobody knows ? any1 shed any light of when everything will be restored ? Thanks !”

“My ps3 is also down is sony doing anything to fix this problem?”

“you think all the money playstation is makin you wood think they wood fix it by now”

” i doubt it……fix it soon or u will have alot of angry costumers…”

That anger may have already arrived.

Sony says the error does not affect the slim PS3. It reports the error cause is a clock functionality. But what is causing the problem is not the issue – rather WHEN is it going to be fixed.

Here is what each error code means when prompted on PlayStation:
0710102 – DNS Error; No DSN server available.
8001050B – Will not play demo hard drive games, when Blu-ray disc is inserted – Cause unknown
80010510 – Will not play hard drive games – Cause unknown
8002b241 – DVI has no audio.
80028EA5 – Unknown
80029023 – Exchanging Key Information exchange has timed out
80029024 – The attempt to obtain an IP address has timed out
80029564 – Downloaded Game will not install – Cause unknown
8002F997 – Can not update XMB firmware
8003051E – Game will not Save
80031150 – System Settings Fail to Save – Possible Blue Screen “Setting information is corrupted. Press the x button to repair and restore default”
80130203 – PS3 connects to internet but not to network – Typically means that the required ports are not open to connect to store but PS3 can connect to internet.
80710092 – “An error has occurred. You’ve been signed out from the PS network” – (connection dropped?)
80710102 – PS3 Cannot connect to the router with current IP information – Try rebooting your router
80710541 – The connection to the server timed out.
80710B23 – PS3 Network is Down or PS3 Network is too busy to respond

PlaySation errors manifesting today are the following:

* The date of the PS3 system may be re-set to Jan 1, 2000.
* When the user tries to sign-in to the PlayStation Network, the following message appears on the screen; “An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PlayStation Network (8001050F)”.
* When the user tries to launch a game, the following error message appears on the screen and the trophy data may disappear; “Failed to install trophies. Please exit your game.”
* When the user tries to set the time and date of the system via the Internet, the following message appears on the screen; “The current date and time could not be obtained. (8001050F)”
* Users are not able to playback certain rental video downloaded from the PlayStation Store before the expiration date.

And yet, despite all this, no new update from Sony since 9 am PST 12 pm EST Monday.
