Several news sites have posted video footage they claim is “seconds” before the attack. But when you compare the footage with description of the actual footage as described by a guest on GMA Friday, they don’t line up.

In fact, by now, we all know the steps that led to the death of the shamu trainer, a ponytail rubbing against the orca’s nose propping him to yank her by her hair into his tank, and to her death.

Yet video footage claiming to be “seconds” before doesn’t show that.

The only insight readers have as to what appears on the actual video footage is provided by Thad Lacinak. On Friday, GMA interviewed Thad Lacinak about what happened seconds before. He said he’s see the video and Dawn is not in the water seconds before. Rather she is pulled into the water seconds before her attack by her ponytail.

So what is portrayed in news video claiming to be seconds before the attack? Dawn is shown already in the water doing chores. The video is described as the following: “A family from New Hampshire visiting SeaWorld Orlando shoots a home video seconds before a whale trainer is killed.”

But that’s not consistent with Thad’s statement.

Thad is the former head trainer at SeaWorld. Lacinak added he thought that Brancheau’s mistake caused her death and Brancheau would confirm that if alive.

Thad said he watched a video that shows Brancheau allowing her ponytail to drop into the water in front of the killer whale, prompting him a message to play. At that point the killer whale grabbed Brancheau by her ponytail in his mouth, yanked her into the water, and brought her to her death.

Lacinak says Brancheau would agree to her mistake if alive.

Geoff Bodine’s Night Train Bobsled has won gold! Steven Holcomb (who had who had corrective eye surgery last year), Justin Olsen, Steve Mesler and Curtis Tomasevicz have won the 2010 Olympic Gold gold for Men’s 4-team bobsled.

Night Train’s win is the first in 62 years. The last win was the 1948 St Moritz Games!

Geoff Bodine helped design the sled. Bodine said tonight: “Team Holcomb has the confidence to keep doing what they are doing”.

Steve Holcomb reportedly had eye surgery in 2009. He had suffered from degenerative disease that would have resulted in Steve going blind if not corrected.

“We’ve been working so hard the last four years and it’s finally paid off” .

Michael Blosil left behind a suicide note. Blosil had reportedly suffered depression. Michael was the second child adopted by Marie. In one of these more recent pictures, Michael is the middle age child standing in the front with the stripped vest sweater.

Brian Blosil and Marie met in January 1986 and married on October 28 that year. Marie was 27, Brian 33, at the time. The ceremony was at Jordan River Temple officiated by Paul H. Dunn.

Marie said through a statement today:

“My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time.”

Marie had Stephen James Craig Blosil with Steve Craig. With Blosil, Marie adopted five children (Jessica, Michael, Brandon, Brianna, and Abigal) and had Rachel and Matthew.

In 2009, Michael Blosil exited rehab. Marie said at the time the following to PEOPLE: “Those kinds of things are really very hard for a teenager to deal with. And if he ever wants to talk about it … he will, but it has to be their choice. It’s not my choice.”
