Kim Yu Na Figure Skater Short Program!

Figure Skater Kim Yu Na is first after tonight’s short program in Women’s Figure Skating. Kim Yu Na has a 2010 Olympics Gold Medal in her path after a huge short program score tonight, as broke earlier on LALATE.
For US tv viewers, Kim Yu-Na might be a new name tonight. But for native South Korea, Kim is the biggest celebrity at the Olympic Games.
Kim Yu-Na’s song selection was James Bond songs put to a medley. But for tv viewers, they saw the master in action. Her performance was a work of art. Kim said she had waited her life for this moment.
And did she ever deliver!
Her final sore was 78.50 in front of second place’s Mao Asada (Japan) with a 73.78. Rounding out the group is Joannie Rochette (Canada) – who lost her mother last weekend as profiled on LALATE – sitting at 71.36 and Miki Ando (Japan) with a 64.76.
For the US, it was Rachel Flatt and Mirai Nagasu (from Los Angeles’ Montebello) with 5th (64.64) and 6th (63.76)
