Reports now fear that the plane struck the building intentional. This comes as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security states the crash was not terrorist-related.

Initial reports that Echelon building hit housed the IRS, the CIA and FBI are wrong. Correcting reports say only the IRS is in the building.

NBC is reporting witnesses say the plane plowed into the building full throttle force suggesting the pilot was not in peril and may have acted intentionally.

The Echelon building is located on the 9400 block of Research Boulevard close to U.S. 183 and MoPac.

Austin Bergstrom International Airport is the closest airport but the flight path of the plane – not even known to be commercial or private yet – is still also yet to be released.

A witness told the Statesman that he saw small plane flying very low over the highway, when it banked heavily and crashed into the building.
