Doug Bourn Palo Alto Plane Crash!
Doug Bourn’s company is identified as the owner of that Cesna 310 in the East Palo Alto plane crash today.
Air Unique Inc. is reportedly owned by Doug Bourn. Bourn is a senior electrical engineer for Tesla Motors. Tesla confirms the unidentified pilot who died was a “high ranking official”.
Two other Tesla employees died upon impact.
The plane crashed before 8 am in the 1200 block of Beech Street at Pulgas. No injuries reported on the ground, three cars damaged, one house impacted.
The plane was en route to Hawthorne Municipal Airport in Los Angeles County from Palo Alto Airport. Cause of the crash is not confirmed with reports ranging from a crash into an electrical tower to just thick fog.

The Cessna 310 crashed into a home day care center in residential East Palo Alto, then impacting cars. The plane was en route to Hawthorne Municipal Airport but had crashed shortly after take off from neighboring Palo Alto Airport.
