VIDEO. Here is the complete fatal Luge crash video of Nodar Kumaritashvili, the crash video at the 2010 Olympics Games. Luger Nodar Kumaritashvili’s  crash was first broke on LALATE on Friday at a time that press believed Nodar was in critical condition.

Nodar Kumaritashvili’s crash came during a track test run before the Olympic games. His run, like those of other lugers, was broadcasted on large tv screens that appeared at the bottom of the race for press to view and report on.

Initially following Nodar Kumaritashvili’s crash, that same video was released and appeared on youtube. When LALATE first broke the details of the crash, the video was on youtube, then coming down. In the hours that followed, U.S. press scrambled to deliver their alternative – PHOTOS of the video playing at the venue. Media photographers released their pictures of the breaking news video.

But by Friday evening, as broke first here again, the complete video was re-released to press.

We may never know what prompted the IOC to remove the video as the organization was coming under fire for creating a track some argue was too fast and too dangerous.

IOC president Jacques Rogge said the death “clearly casts a shadow over these games.” The impact was the last turn is reportedly a 270 degree spin, top speeds at 140 KM/Hr.

Moreover while press added the Friday crash of Armin Zoeggeler of Italy, other reports say that as many as 1 dozen crashes were on sight by Friday. The crash location was Blackcomb Mountain
