The Who Drummer Zak Starkey!

Who dat? Zak Starkey, Ringo Starr’s son, is The Who’s drummer. Zak Starkey replaced Keith Moon as The Who drummer in 1994.
Drummer Keith Moon died in 1978, and bass player John Entwistle passed in 2002. Rhythm guitarist Simon Townsend is Pete’s younger brother.
The performance tonight was matched with the redone version of “My Generation” courtesy of will.i.am and Slash. The Who and will.i.am will dedicate proceeds from sales of the new record to Oxfam for relief efforts in Haiti.

This is not NEWs! Zak has been their drummer for several years. Of course, CBS TV didn’t know it as their announcers made no mention of this “human interest” side of the Who’s appearance.
