His name is Chayne Hultgren. Over the weekend, the Space Cowboy swallowed up his own 2008 sword record. This time it was 18 swords making the mark.

The total length of each sword was over 28 inches. Ouch. How did he prepare for the event?

“I stretch my throat with hoses and use a few different techniques to basically enable me to do what, until now, has been impossible. I don’t just straightaway grab 18 blades and shove them down my throat - you’ve got to practice a lot and build up to it.”
