Your Pro Football Hall of Fame 2010 class is the following: Emmitt Smith, Jerry Rice, Washington’s Russ Grimm, New Orleans’ Rickey Jackson, Detroit’s Dick LeBeau, Denver’s Floyd Little and Minnesota’s John Randle.

Press reaction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame 2010 class was very mixed Saturday.

On USA Today, reaction includes the following:

“Chris Carter should have been in. Ricky Jackson…NO. John Randle..NO. Russ Grimm…NO. All good, but not better than Carter. His numbers speak for themselves.“

On the Chicago Sun Times, Richard Dent’s exclusion is all the chatter:

“I cant believe it. Dent is one of the best to play the DE position. What is up with this selection group? “

The paper reports “According to Hall of Fame voter Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Dent was eliminated in the cutdown from 10 to five, along with Cris Carter, Shannon Sharpe, Andre Reed and Cortez Kennedy.”

On the Dallas Morning News, reaction is saying the following:

“Russ & Ricky wow, this could been one of the great HOF in yeras or ever. Someone blow it. Tim Brown, Ed too tall, & Haley. WOW out of the three Haley should been a lock!!! Russ & Ricky was ok, but not as good as Tim Brown or Haley. Some bodt needs to take a better look at this.“

“Russ Grim isnt even the best Skins Lineman from the teams he played on ( Joe Jacoby ) ! Tim Brown got shafted and Haley has 5 rings with 2 teams. He mad the difference on defense to get the boys to their first superbowl in the 90’s! The selection process [is no good] and so does the committee!“
