Danica heated up the tracks Saturday. Danica heats up Super Bowl ads Sunday. It’s Patrick overdrive overload. And with a super 6th place finish at Daytona, Patrick is on her way. But could this commercial be on its way to go viral Monday?

Patrick told press at SPEED the following about today’s race:

“Once I’m at speed and running in traffic, I have a lot to learn there but I’m a little more comfortable because it’s more common racing situations and it’s just about feeling the car. I have a lot to learn but I’m excited to get going and hopefully it goes well.”

Patrick reached fifth during the final three laps but would fall back to sixth at the close. Patrick’s lowest spot during the race was 17th and held 10th through the majority of the race. The Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 ARCA Racing Series featured Patrick starting in the number 12 position.

Bobby Gerhart won followed by Mark Thompson, John Wes Townley, James Buescher and Patrick Sheltra.

Patrick was joined by other female drivers (by start position) – Alli Owens (starting 19th), Leilani Munter (25th), Jill George (38th), Milka Duno (41st) and Jennifer Jo Cobb (42nd).
