MAP – Here is a map of today’s Karachi, Pakistan blast. The Karachi Pakistan blast has a death toll at 12 that could rise with 50 injured and a second blast killing two additional persons.

Dr. Seemin Jamali, Head of the Emergency Department at Jinnah Hospital in Karachi issued a statement moments ago:

“Twelve people were martyred and 50 injured in the first blast. There are children and women among the killed and wounded”

The two blasts are roughly an hour apart in the city’s Northwest section. The first Karachi blast was a motorcycle explosion. The bike crashed into a bus carrying Shia Muslim mourners.

Police officials described the scene:

“The bus was carrying Shia mourners. It was full of people and a motorcycle rammed into the bus. The motorcycle was completely destroyed and the bus was heavily damaged”.

In the last 30 days, 153 people have reportedly died from attacks in the country.
