Drive4Copd (Drive4Copd.com) is the Nascar health initiative on COPD.

DRIVE4COPD will alert Americans to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) through a NASDAQ partnership announced Wednesday.

DRIVE4COPD will use a five step survey to help people address concerns if they are at risk. A five question screener “can help people begin a dialogue with their healthcare provider.”

COPD will appear at NASCAR events throughout the year along with other sporting events and country music events. At NASCAR, their screening sections will be called Pit Stops.People can also learn more about COPD by attending one of the “Pit Stop” screening events taking place throughout the year at NASCAR races, major professional sporting events and country music concerts.

Specifically, DRIVE4COPD will appear at the Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series events.

Additionally, a “Race for the Missing Millions” will be a four day cross country race to race awareness of COPD and will include Bruce Jenner, Patty Loveless, Michael Strahan and Danica Patrick who joins NASCAR in 2010.
