Alabama WINNER BCS National Championship Game!

Alabama has won the BCS National Championship. Alabama is the winner of the BCS National Championship Game in what was tonight one of the most exciting college football games in recent memory.
The game started with a shocking shoulder injury taking Colt McCoy out of the game. The replacement of Garrett Gilbert resulted in Alabama pulling a 6-24 lead by halftime. The rookie Gilbert was ice cold the first half.
But in the second, suddenly Gilbert was on fire, bringing that lead to only 21-24. A series of stunning receptions by Jordan Shipley, including a 44 yard TD pass, brought the game close with 2 minutes remaining. But in the end, final score was 21-37.

Mark Ingram delivering his 2nd of 2 TDs rushing tonight. Ingram produced 116 yards on 22 carries. McElroy had 58 yards, delivering 6 for 11. Richardson had 2 TDs on 19 carries producing 109 yards.
Gilbert ended 15 for 40 with 186 yards, 2 TDs and 4 INTs. Shipley had 2 TDs on 10 receptions over 122 yards.
