For Palm Springs, Mariah admits she was … tipsy. She tells PEOPLE:

“We’d been sitting there, celebrating this whole time and having little splashes [of champagne] and I hadn’t eaten.”

“The thing is, me and Lee hadn’t seen each other in a while. I love Lee, but he’s a bad influence!”

Last night at the People’s Choice Awards, Carey raised eyebrows again during her acceptance for Favorite R&B Artist.

She said to Nick thank you “for helping me with this dress because … it’s a drama…. [and for] many other things I probably shouldn’t mention.”
