INJURY UPDATE – Colt McCoy is being tested after a 1st quarter injury. Colt McCoy’s injury resulted in the Texas star QB walking off the field and returning to the lockeroom later in the quarter.

McCoy is now off field being examined by team trainers. At issue appears to be his right shoulder. After the 1st quarter tackle, he stood up and appeared fine.

But later he began on the sidelines to show pain. Backup Garrett Gilbert took the field promptly.

For the season, McCoy is delivering a 71% completion rate with 27 TDs, 12 INTs, and 3512 yards.

HALFTIME UPDATE:

Team officials have just confirmed – McCoy is NOT returning for the rest of the game. McCoy will not return for the 2nd half of today’s game.
