Tila would twitter details surrounding the death of Johnson throughout Monday. Later today confirmation that Johnson had been dead for several days before the discovery of her body this morning.

Fake Tila dead reports are the first to strike the reality star. They also mark the latest to spread falsely moments after another

celebrity’s passing.

LAPD Sgt. Charles Halliburton issued the following statement:

“I can confirm there’s been a death and the body has been identified as Casey Johnson.”

Johnson is the daughter of New York Jets owner Woody Johnson. Casey, an heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune, was found dead this morning. But the day of her passing remains unclear.

Casey Johnson is the great-great-granddaughter of Robert Wood Johnson, who founded Johnson and Johnson.

Tila first twittered the following about Johnson’s death:

“Everyone please pray 4 my Wifey Casey Johnson. She has passed away. Thank u for all ur love and support but I will be offline to be w family”

Then Tila followed up:

“This is a very heartbreaking time for me. I just want some pricacy as I deal with the loss of my Fiance Casey Johnson. I’m heart is shredded”

Tila then updated:

“I just got news that my fiance is not dead but currently in a coma!!! Omg please pray that she will make it! Hang in there my love please!!!”

Moments later, Tila twittered

“I know u can feel me Casey! Dot let go! I’m almost home baby please hang on! We have a beautiful life planned out for us! I LOVE u! Hang on!”

Johnson made news in 2008 seen hand in hand with Courtenay Semel. By August that year, Johnson and Semel had reportedly split. Johnson was 30.

Reports online say she was diagnosed with diabetes at age eight, co-wrote the book “Managing Your Child’s Diabetes” with her father.

Nicknames she would acquire in the media were “Band-Aid Princess”. Johnson’s last tweet was December 29.
