AT&T network service was down affecting text messages, reports Twitter users. AT&T network service impacted text message delivery shortly around midnight last night in various parts of the U.S. reports late night tweets.

The concentration of Twitter posts on the subject were at 2:30 AM PST 5:30 AM EST today. Twitter users report the same – that texts shortly after midnight didn’t get delivered until hours later, and then, often in multiple copies.

Recent tweets within the last hour (5:30 AM PST) include:

My text would not go thru lastnight & I was disturbed by this..
Apparently at&t messed up last night from all the traffic because my midnight text to everyone would never send. :p they finally have now!

AT&T who sent me a text message last night all just showed up, at once, duplicated dozens of times. Smooth AT&T.

Earlier tweets this morning included users saying texts ame 3 hours after sent.

Way to go, AT&T. Your network delivered text messages about 3 hours late.

AT&T is going nutso and repeatedly sending me my last received text.

Okay so i keep getting everyones text three times each… Not funny AT&T!

At&t suffered a major network outage @midnight.some of u may notice that text messages r coming 12@ a time.that’s why
