Kim Kardashian Cookie Diet Lawsuit!

Kim Kardashian is being sued by the Cookie Diet. Kim Kardashian’s Cookie Diet lawsuit comes after the Kardashian twittered October 29, 2009 the following:
“Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet is falsely promoting that I’m on this diet. NOT TRUE! I would never do this unhealthy diet! I do Quick Trim!”
The Cookie Diet takes offense to the reference “unhealthy diet”.
The suit claims “Kim Kardashian failed to include in either of her false statements is the fact that she is a paid spokesperson for QuickTrim, thereby providing her with the commercial motive to defame Dr Siegal and Dr Siegal’s Cookie Diet Company.” The suit also claims a letter from Kardashain to Siegal’s company was leaked to TMZ, not by Siegal’s reps.
This December 28 suit comes days after a December 23 report in the Daily Mail questioning if Kardashian is being paid upwards of allegedly $10,000 to tweet.
“According to a report out this week, the U.S. socialite allegedly commands up to $10,000 (£6,300) for every tweet she posts on her Twitter account as part of her contract with in-stream advertising company Ad.ly.”
“The former best friend of Paris Hilton currently has over 2million followers on Twitter and Ad.ly have put her tweeting services up for hire alongside U.S. stars such as Lauren Conrad and Dr. Drew.
“It is thought some of Kardashian’s advertisers include Reebok EasyTone and Carl’s Jr, the fast food chain.
“The reality TV star often mentions using products from both companies, in fact out of 30 tweets on her page, five mention products from either company.”
