Brittany Murphy’s Autopsy results are complete, cause of death set to be released. Brittany Murphy’s autopsy results and cause of death will be announced not promptly but within a few weeks.

This comes as the L.A. Coroner’s office determined Murphy potentially denied of natural causes.

LA County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter has announced results are “pending the rest of the other tests including toxicology, neuropathology [brain analysis], and histiopathology [analysis of other organs]….[There is] no evidence of trauma to the body.”

Officials in advance of the coroner’s autopsy believed Brittany Murphy died of natural causes.

In a new report Tuesday, Murphy’s father tells US Magazine that his daughter didn’t have a heart condition. That is contrast to a story profiled since Sunday on LALATE in which Murphy admitted to such a condition during a previous interview.

Father Angelo Bertolotti tells US “Brittany never had a heart problem before, so I don’t understand how she died.”

But as profiled on LALATE Sunday, Murphy had previously detailed to press she had a serious heart condition that began at childhood and continued as an adult. While the net took to rumor creations Sunday about Murphy’s cause of death, Brittany herself in a 2001 interview said she couldn’t take and hadn’t used illegal substances ever because of her heart condition.

A 2001 interview by Murphy to Michael Adams detailed her lifetime struggle with the heart problems. Adams recalls his interview with Murphy in an email statement Sunday.

“it was in an interview about ‘Sidewalks Of New York’ but I asked her about other projects and she mentioned ‘Spun,’. I asked her – as a joke – if she’d taken [illegal substances] for research and she laughed and said even if she wanted to she couldn’t take [illegal substances] because she’d had a heart condition since she was a little girl.”
