Simon Monjack and Murphy married in May 2007. Upon arrival at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Murphy was already dead.

Simon Monjack wrote the storyline on Factory Girl, the 2006 film led by Sienna Miller, Guy Pearce as Andy Warhol, Hayden Christensen, and Jimmy Fallon. He is also credited in a 2000 film.

Murphy’s personal life was filled with public engagements called off quietly without much explanation. Murphy’s most public engagement was to The Firm’s Jeff Kwatinetz. Murphy would also be engaged to Joe Macaluso in December 2005.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced. Brittany Murphy will be greatly missed. Send your love.
