That’s not a picture Sears could imagine, says reports. British press claim Sears left tennis’ number ranked number 4 Murray because of his alleged excessive love of something else …. Playstation 3!

One friend tells the Daily Mail:

“No one else is involved. Both Andy and Kim are saddened that the relationship is over, but they mutually felt it was time for them to part. There were no blazing rows, or anything like that. Kim left Andy’s house under amicable circumstances. They are still in contact with one another and remain good friends.”

But the Telegraph reports a different story.

“However, sources close to Sears said one of the causes [of the breakup] was the world number four’s long hours playing video tennis and PlayStation 3 games such as the best selling Call of Duty sequel. Brad Gilbert, Murray’s former coach, has said in the past that Murray spends “seven hours a day” playing video games.”

An insider tells the Sun: “He would spend all his time glued to them. In the end she just got fed up with it. She wanted more out of the relationship.”

Murray’s agent says to the Sun however that he “doesn’t play computer games any more than any other 22 year-old”. It’s not exactly clear what that means.
