In March 2008, her IMDB profile (which listed her alive) got postings from fans “i was looking around on the net about her and saw a biography on her and it has “Date of Death: 1-1-2008″ is this right?….I hope not”. That reference was to a TV.COM “bio” that listed wrongly at the time “Birthday: 4-2-1982 Death: 1-1-2008″

Her DJ name reportedly is “DJ Shanthrax”, the same name appearing on the myspace profile at myspace.com/shandirocks not yet accessed this month.

Ashley Samson told the Star / Enquirer earlier this week:

“In June, [Rachel] told me, ‘Tiger Woods is blowing up my phone messages!’ Tiger thinks Rachel is staying quiet about their affair, but she told everyone. She told me, ‘I’m having an affair with Tiger Woods. We’re in love!’ … I’ve heard him while she was talking to him on the phone and I recognized the voice. “I don’t appreciate my name or what people think of me being dragged through the mud by people who don’t even bother to research what or who they’re talking about … they should research who these stories are coming from, who they’re believing as a credible source. Not to mention that it’s in the National Enquirer.”

Mike Penner formerly Christine Daniels has died. LA Times’ Mike Penner aka Christine Daniels is confirmed dead at age 52.

Cause of death is unknown.

In the last year, the Los Angeles Times sports writer returned to his using “Mike Penner” for his column. Two years ago, he announced he was changing his name from Penner to “Christine Daniels”.

Penner was a columnist for 25 years with the Times. His editor Mike James confirms Penner’s death in a statement today released to AP:

“Mike was one of the most talented writers I’ve ever worked with, capable of reporting on any number of topics with great wit and style. He was a very gentle man who will be greatly missed. This is a tragic ending and a difficult time for all of us who knew him”.

Penner’s current column was called “Totally Random”. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
