The game starts at 10 PM EST, 7 PM PST. But while you may think the game is on ESPN or ABC, it is instead only on FSN (Fox Sports Network) on your cable channel. Online, LALATE will have live scoring of the game from Los Angeles.

Says USC Football:

“The game–approaching a sell out–will be televised live nationally on FSN cable.

“No. 24 USC hosts UCLA in the 79th edition of the famous crosstown rivalry. Not only is post-season positioning at stake, but so are year-long city bragging rights, possession of the Victory Bell and key points in the Crosstown Gauntlet standings. It’s a rare night meeting between the Trojans and Bruins (in fact, it’s the series’ second latest start time ever) and the first time in 30 years that the game is being held on Thanksgiving weekend. Troy has a 30-game winning streak at home at night. Both teams will don their home jerseys. USC is looking to sweep its traditional rivals in 2009, after posting a win at Notre Dame last month. This is Troy’s 600th conference game.”

Trojans Coach Carroll says of UCLA:

“They have been playing good football though. They’ve taken the ball away. They’ve been secure with the ball on the offensive side. They’ve played good, solid ball. Their special teams are in order.

“They’ve given themselves to beat the guys that they’re better than, and they’re doing a nice job of that. The fact that they rebounded after the string of losses that they have is a testament that they’ve hung together and they’ve hung tough. You know, they’re trying to finish this on a high note, obviously, and get into bowl games and all that kind of stuff, which I’m sure they’re pumped up about it.”

He adds about Barkley:

“So Matt’s (Barkley) coming along. So I think it’s a very, very tough conference this year. We’d love to match up and see who could win if we had a chance against SEC or any of the big conferences around. It would be fun to do that. But we don’t get to, so it’s just talk.”
