The trial of John “Junior” Gotti is deadlocked. Junior is the brother of Victoria Gotti (Growing Up Gotti).

While Victoria Gotti has said of the Junior Gotti trial that the FBI won’t leave him alone, a jury as of Tuesday night appears to be in agreement with the former reality tv star.

In August 2008 LALATE first profiled the arrest of Junior. At the time, John Jr. was arrested in his home of Oyster Bay Cove on allegations of racketeering and for complicity in three murders. Victoria had told press in April 2008 “They just won’t leave him alone. They want his blood.”

Gotti, 45, is being prosecuted for several 1980s crimes and alleged involvement in the death of Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa. Judge Kevin Castel told the jury Tuesday: “If your deliberations do not end in a verdict, in all likelihood it would have to be tried again before another jury”.

This is Junior’s fourth trial in five years. All four proevious cases ended in hung verdicts or mistrials.
