VIDEO! Here is YouTube video of Naeem Khan and his Michelle Obama State Dinner dress. Naeem Khan’s dress for Michelle Obama was a winner, worn Tuesday evening at the President’s first State Dinner.
The pattern is floral, the work you see is all custom beaded. The night was joined by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and wife Gursharan Kaur.
Khan tells Larry King the dress was chic but glamorous. The first video features the dress, the second video features a 2009 interview with Khan himself.

During the older interview, Khan describes his addition of his own jewelry to many of his outfits. He often uses the word chic. The designer stresses the appropriateness of being able to take a skirt from one stunning outfit and be able to mix and match it with another, achieve the same “Park Avenue” feel, as he describes.
LALATE adores the Leopard print he depicts, all silver and black plays. Another outfit he stresses the ability to accessorize it four different ways. One outfit he shows how it can be modified as ball gown, or a cocktail dress, or even different.
