Cyber Monday refers to the first Monday after Thanksgiving for Holiday shopping promotions online. Black Friday originated to refer to retail (offline) store sales the Friday after Thanksgiving. In recent years the terms have become blurred.

Black Friday Ads are now online, emailed, often before Friday. Cyber Monday in turn is now used to refer to ever Monday after Thanksgiving until Christmas.
