With mile high hair, and a killer outfit, Adam Lambert rocked his first AMA stage tonight. But did you enjoy it? An incredible selection of stage performers backed up Lambert that everyone is talking about Sunday.

Wow Adam Lambert is one of the most gutsy performers I have ever seen. I loved his performance. Kudos to the choreographer who came up with that routine. The AMAs have always shown progressive and controversial performances but this year Adam Lambert’s song topped them all. That was so hot, so close and unexpected and I know even the performers who were grabbing themselves in their own songs were like…”No He Didn’t”! That’s right he did! It was hot! This is our music of tomorrow folks and it so reflects society today. Go to any night club and you see girl on girl, guy on guy and etc. Adam was just showing folks what is out there and he did it to his song perfectly. Loved the high notes. Adam is fierce, sexy, bold and yes everyone will talk about this tomorrow! I can’t wait to see him on Ellen!

Adam has balls of steel. After women strutted around being overtly sexual all night Adam dared to show a little male sexuality. I think it was very enlightening – LOL!! Love Adam and his album is fantastic!!!

I think his stage show will work on tour. The AMA performance had sound problems as well as other glitches it seemed. His talented voice wasn’t evident and that was disappointing because his CD drops today. The FYE song is better on the CD–and people were counting on him killing this song LIVE–because isn’t he the most talented live singer? I think he is–you can count on Adam Lambert to bring it to any live performance….except last night. It was more shock and awe due to the ADHD stage show then his octave vocal ability–which his fans were waiting for.
Put the vocal up front and keep the sex kittens in the back. Adam can really dance but I did not see his amazing dance steps either…just the going up and down steps and did he fall? Who knows. But he is a very good dancer which again, fans love his dancing ability which was MIA.
I hope his CD rocks the billboard though. Anyone can turn to youtube and see that big voice is very real but it just wasn’t around last night on the AMA slot.

Adam Lambert is a nobody, that is why he is trying so hard to create buzz. There’s a reason he was in LA for so long and no one cared about him. Minimal talent just trying to shock everyone now. You’re gay, we get it, but you are an immature loser.

What a disappointment…trashy..preordered CD..will return it when I receive it via mail..he lost a fan(s) last night with that performance..I wanted t see his talent, not his disguesting performance. The whole show was trash and think very little of the AMAs…good thing he didn’t win Idol..they would have lost lots of fans because of that show.

he’s new. he’s nervous. no matter how much time he’s had on stage so far. every entertainer has their bad nights…albums….songs. can anyone imagine the stress all of the kids from the idol show have been through? not we mere mortals. wishing you the best adam. auntie liz

I was an Adam Lambert fan, but after seeing his classless demonstration of his sexuality, I no longer have any desire to listen to him as an individual. He had a chance to be respected for his talent, instead, he chose to impress those who are more interested in whatever it was he was trying to prove. BTW, I lost respect for Madonna and Brittany for their lame attempt at getting attention. This isn’t about sexuality either. I wouldn’t want a heterosexual display of such behavior in a public forum either. This wasn’t cable. Adam knew this. In our time zone, kids could have still been up. I cared about Adam based on what I saw on American idol, now that I know he doesn’t care about what’s important to me, I have no interest in defending him. (And yes, I am a gay rights supporter, but heterosexual myself)

Adam is the most…don’t say he is the wrong one to not have won Idol…what do you want the dry, dont’ jolt anyone music….Adam Put his heart and soul in that and it was awesome…the show was so boring, till Adam came on and he lite the whole stage up…..I know he didn’t shock Hollywood, I have seen a lot worse on t.v. and it wasn’t entertainment like Adams was…I am a fan for the rest of my life and I am 74…….My grandkids have seen worse than that i am sure….

I too was a big fan of Adam Lambert. But that performance on AMA was way too over the top. He came across like a freak instead of a unique talent. What a waste. Let’s hope he decides to go for the music instead of the shock value.

Hey Everyone,
I just think that yeah, it was in the moment, but it was a double whammy, gay and male…janet jackson grabed a male dancer’s unit and Lady Gaga (Love her btw) was braking whisky bottles…not to mention in the past how many of the most successful artist have been thrown off the AMAs and didn’t get so much backlash, and they became the most publicized artist…(Madonna,etc….
Hope that the world can see that homosexuality is not going to be sweeped under the rug any more… and the world is just going to have to change….

I am sure that Adam will not miss a few fans that didn’t care for his ama show….He has learned his lesson and am sure it will be better from now on…Some of the others was riska also….I say the ones who said they was no more fans, wasn’t one to begin with….I personally don’t want him to act completely gay, cause on Idol he did his thing wonderfully each week….I don’t care about his homosexuality, I just want him to be an entertainer….I am straight but I will treat men and women the same if I was an entertainer….Adam has the most women in his fan line and he will find out they will make him lots of money by buying his cd’s and dvd’s when he gets there….Go Adam
