BREAKING NEWS - A Saipan shooting has killed five, injured six. The Saipan shooting on the Northern Mariana Islands began at Kannat Tabla.

The Saipan shooting took the lives of two men in their twenties and a 4 year old girl.

From there the shooter fled to a World War II site close to Marpi. He then began to shoot at South Korean tourists traveling in a white van. Six were injured. On Korean is 39 and critical, two are 38 and stable, the remaining have been released.

Lt Governor Elroy issued a statement moment ago:

“This is an unfortunate but isolated incident. It happened for reasons unbenowst to us but we can handle this type of situation. We want to assure the community and our tourists that the commonwealth is still a good place to visit.”

The Department of Safety said:

“The police were able to locate the care used in the shooting and after opening the vehicle they recovered three rifles. After a search of the area surrounding the vehicle, a body was discovered with a self inflicted wound to the head.”

The Saipan shooter is from Asia, 30-40, believed Chinese, and went by the nickname “Mr Lee.”
